Snap one end of the grounding cord onto the continuity tester and plug the other end into the tester's grounded receptacle. Then, place the continuity tester onto your grounding product and press the button. If the light remains green as you move the tester over the surface of the grounding product then that means it is successfully grounded and there is continuity.
